I stopped watching it for a while and then tried again but even though I record it and zoom through all the hysterical chatter and clatter, I'm now finding I can't be bothered at all.  Samey, noisy, practically every dance so jerky one could be forgiven for thinking the participants are throwing a fit - I just can't be doing with it any more.  Is it just me - or is it really past its sell-by date?

Given the well documented shenanigans in the past they might want to go with Strictly Ballroom.

Watch "Strictly Come Dancing" instead then...

Er indoors watches it by FFing the talking etc. I never liked it because they ruin every single song with moronic hand clapping like a bunch of seals.

I agree 100%. so false, Tess Daly is like a wooden broomstick, too much grinning and falseness and luvvies from all of them. So many obvious Stage School contestants.   Awful programme.

Still love it, pure escapism after a week at work, and Chris and Diane are absolute stars this series.

I can't believe it's still going after 20 years or whatever it is. A load of flummery and nonsense. Yes, it was entertaining but they drag it out to 3 hours of telly for about 20 minutes of dancing.
After Toyah left this series I tried to ignore it, but Husband watches it and I can hear everything coming out of his headphones.

I love it too campbellking, real entertainment and easy, pleasant tv on a Saturday night. I don't care who wins, I just like watching it.
