Another one that doesn't work.  The contestant didn't know what any of the words mean so took a guess.  No shame in that.

Question Author

every school kid knows the interregnum, surely!

//every school kid knows the interregnum, surely!//

I think you overestimate the knowledge of today's school kids!

Why?  If they don't know they don't know.

none of those words are in common usage nowadays

Question Author

It is basic history though I suppose they've stopped teaching that now but I'd expect the more senior ones of us to know that.

I would have got the answer correct, TTT, and i also know the meaning of internecine. But i must confess that i've just had to look up interregnum. And i do consider myself to be reasonably well educated.

I think you have to concede this isn't a contender, TTT.

Question Author

think what you like love, feel free to ignore these if they disturb you so much.

TTT, Will you please stop calling me 'love' whenever to take umbridge.

Question Author

Through many of these and by your own evaluation we have established that you have very limited knowldge. Fair enough but why do you assume that of everyone else?

Because I'm completely and utterly thick, TTT.

Question Author

having little knowledge doesn't make you "thick" - yes intelligent people are often knowledgeable but the two are not the same thing.

Oh the irony!  🤣

TORATORATORA, "Through many of these and by your own evaluation we have established that you have very limited knowldge."

Is that the royal, "we"?

Question Author

That was a joke was it? I thought you were being honest. Indeed, the irony!

This gets funnier.  😂

You mean someone actually knows any of those words ? Never come up in any casual conversation I've ever had.

Nope. No clue.

You missed one Intermilan
