In her evidence, Ms Vercoe also shared screenshots of a council video about flexible working arrangements which encouraged employees to 'take regular breaks, 'get out in the sunshine' and 'enjoy time with the dog'.
If employers are daft enough to employ people in premises over which they have no control, and they issue guidance like that, they must be responsible for their safety during working hours.
If she got sunburnt or got knocked over by a bus whilst taking their advice, I can imagine the outcome would be no different.
