Down, Down, Down and out. Mugsy Baloney. AKA. Labour.

Ha ha did you not read your own link.

5 BILLION being invested in British farms over the next 2 years. 500m loose change to secure future imports. And those imports will no doubt be a lot cheaper. Try Again. :○)

we are giving over £500m away to foreigners, end of.

A really good investment I'd say. Especialy considering all the tea and fruit we import, and its really cheap. Invest 500million into these countries is like giving them 2 billion, because they will work their socks off for little money. Buy them a new tractor and they will produce even more. Great move by labour.

"End of" ...the classic dogma of the wannabe dictator.
Sorry TTT, it's only "end of" when democracy says so old chap ;-)

Is it all going to farming projects?

What period does the funding cover?

Tell me who is going to get a share of this £5 billion, TCL or nice bloke?

Tell me more about it in general.

"Farmers are the backbone of Britain, and we recognise the strength of feeling expressed by farming and rural communities in recent weeks. We are steadfast in our commitment to Britain’s farming industry because food security is national security.

It's why we are investing £5 billion into farming over the next two years – the largest amount ever directed towards sustainable food production, rural economic growth and nature’s recovery in our country’s history."

That was announced on the 19th.

You don't know then?

Clearly not - as always.

Presumably taxpayers' money going to UK farmers is simply replacement of subsidies they had under the EU farming policy. Nothing new really.

Yes davebro, giving it directly to farmers instead of giving it to the EU then them giving our farmers a little bit of it back so not new money.

Make the farmers pay their share of Tax ,,,End of.
