Good morning everyone. Busy  day for me as I have to get sorted for driving up to Coventry tomorrow morning for a weekend work conference, staying until Sunday and then driving back home. Last thing  I really need this week but hotel was booked & paid for weeks ago, and I'm meant to be one of the drivers this evening when we all go out for a meal as I'm not drinking, so can't let them down. This week is going far too quickly again - it's going to be February in just over a week!

So what's everyone's plans today??

Morning Smow and any other late birds. Nothing planned here today, same old same old.

Hope you enjoy your conference Smow, try and take it easy after all the travelling

Have a happy day everyone

Good morning, just.  Hope your pain has settled down now especially as you have a long drive.  Nothing exciting today, been to Sainsburys and B&Q. Got home and the heavens opened with thunder and lightning, fortunately no winds.

Poor tree surgeons opposite got soaked, they were in the middle of loading the working shredding machine.

Good morning Smow, I hope the injections have kicked in, especially as you are driving over the weekend.

I am trying to sort out car insurance for OH, (who is sick in bed). Unfortunately he drives a Land Rover, the favourite car to steal, and the quote  compared to last year is ridiculous.

Hopefully I do not have to go out over the weekend, as the storm is coming. How will that affect you getting to Coventry? I should plan an alternative route to the motorways  - just in case. Sorry for sounding a proper Jeremiah!
