I've been a fan of Bridget since my twenties. She has grown up at the same rate as me so I think she could carry on for many years to come. I would certainly look forward to a senior Bridget.

As an aside, Renee portrays her very well. I was very much a sceptic as I always saw Caroline Quentin when I read the books. Whatever happened to her, I wonder?

I loved the first two books and films, but I think it is a bit past it now. I will probably watch it, anyway.

I loved Leo Woodall in White Lotus, but I'm getting fed up with seeing his face all over the place now.

Bridget in her dotage!   Love it!

I'm resurrecting this thread to say I went to see the new film today. It was very good and I enjoyed it immensely. Lots of laughs and a few tears.
I can't quite see how they could stretch another one out, though.

maybe a grandparent she could be
