Is there any scenario they won't invent to get this fellow on screen?

I expect to see him on "Fastest Strictly Come Dancing" soon!

To be honest even one programme would seem like overkill as I hate him so much

He's great, last week's trawler episode was good.

Just a thin Gregg Wallace, shouty and exciteable.

He's got a lot more get and go than Wallace. As far as I know he's not a lecherous creep either

I watch most of his programmes. He's willing to  try anything.

Agree, Barry, trawler one was good.

I don't know him.

Last night's episode wasn't as good as the trawler

I saw him a long while back and thought was good.

What is the programme is he doing now, on which channel and when ?

//What is the programme is he doing now//

That's the point - he continuously does so many differently themed shows to exhibit his "blokiness" that it becomes bewildering. I can't watch him - others seem to drool.

The series is Proper Jobs and is on U&Dave at 8pm and can be streamed on U

His Great British Power Trip is well worth watching if it's still available.

Dave, you're interested enough to start a thread about him.

tell me that's not overkill!

Last year he did two single episode documentaries (WW2 Bomber and Top Gun) and a 2 episode documentary (Artic Warrior).

Doesn't seem overkill to me. I watched the one about the bomber, the others didn't appeal

Hate takes up a lot of energy. Just don't even think about him

09.53 then don't watch him, switch off, change channels.

Or, join the Dull men's club.

James's fox deterrent was a winner

I saw him do a programme years ago, in India I think, where he encountered a formidable woman who fitted lorry tyres with tyre-levers! He also taught a young woman who could speak little English to say the tongue-twister, "I'm not a feather-plucker I'm the feather plucker's son and I'm only plucking feathers till the feather-pluckers come."

I thought he was very good, perhaps he's gone off.
