You could go see it yourself and decide! It's well worth 2 viewings (if you are the sort who can enjoy films that are made for a family audience).
Hi, my 5 year old and has seen it and he has been fine, I haven't seen it myself, so I don't know if there are any 'scary' bits.
He doesn't like scary things and I know he would have mentioned it to me if anything had bothered him.
He had a few bad dreams after seeing Star Wars episode III, but what can you do when he is Star Wars crazy along with his 7 year old brother and all their friends. I couldn't really stop him from watching it.
