11th Hour
What does everyone think of the new series 11th Hour? Good to hear some good (?) old fashioned english swearing instead of the usual americanisms ?
I found it a bit gruesome, but the way things are going - a taste of things to come? ....or indeed, already here??

I think it has potential, the bodyguard`s character is great, but Patrick Stewarts portrayal left me a bit cold, you couldn`t quite empathise with him, it seemed he was going through the show without really interacting with the other characters.
Still, i will watch the next one and see, as far as the swearing and visuals go, i do understand what you mean, however having dealt in real life with some gut wrenchingly awful situations, perhaps i`m a little desensitised. For me if you are assaulted with overkill from the comfort of your home, you have the luxury of the remote, be grateful for that.
I do realise, that if you have already seen an image and are affected it is too late, but normally that is the "Shock Tactic" which makes you think about things, and remember them for future reference!
I personally believe, that a little squirm now and again reminds us that there is a real world out there in these politically correct times, plus the fact, that these shows are normally shown after 21.00 so the audience should be of an age that can conscientiously decide what is and what is not for them.
However, i must agree using sex, swearing, violence gratuitously is all too common place now, but as previously stated i have the remote :>)
