Terrestrial TV aaaarrrrrgggghhhh
What's happenned to terrestrial TV? it's wall to wall total sh1t! Soaps, cookery, bloody gardenning, naffing decorating programs and that sanctimonious fake Dr bloody Gillian Bloody mcKeith and worst of all the mind numbing tedium of big brother, Id rather hammer a rusty nail through my foot than watch that tosh! They've even turned The Bill into a soap. I dunno what I'd do without UK Gold! I remember when the BBC at least used to have decent programs, I feel sorry for the poor sods who have to watch the 4 terrestrial channels. Rant over!

UK Gold drive me to distraction with their adverts for them selves as well as the paid for adverts. A 25 minute programme takes 40 minutes on Gold. Grrrr - we paid already for the BBC programmes to be made through our licence fee, then we pay for digital then on top they bombard us with adverts.
4 terrestrial channels? i get five...which is lucky...becasue channels five (along with it's fair share of dross) does have some goodies on - Prison Break, House, CSI, Law & Order...
But i do agree that there seems to be an exceptional amount of rubbish on tho...i have freeview so i have slightly extended viewing choices - but a lot of it is Big Brother Extra, X Factor Extra, reality Extra in general - unfortunately, that's the way of things because it is incredibly cheap programming to produce and gets huge ratings. :-(
If nobody had satellite/digital television, you'd still be stuck with your terrestrial channels and would have to find something to watch on one of those and would probably consider it less rubbish if you had less choice - nif you are so insistent on being stuck in front of box.
Could always go down the pub instead! (To watch Sky Sports of course!!!!)
