Did anyone see the programme about 'late' breastfeeding the night. I have fed 2 children myself to about 12-18 months, but this programme made me feel quite ill. I also fed them in public, but no one ever knew, I covered myself with a blanket/shawl. Why do they feel the need to flaunt it?

I only saw a bit of the programme but to me, it certainly seemed as though these people were on a planet of their own. I felt quite sick seeing the 8 year old on the bed with her mother breastfeeding her. It's a good job that the children of this woman were schooled at home, I don't think they'd have survived at a school, after the programme was shown!

Also the woman attempting to breastfeed an 18 month girl that she had adopted, who had never been breastfed.

Surely this borders on abuse?

What I want to know is how do they find these weirdoes? I'm not knocking breastfeeders (knocking?!) but these people were creepy.
