Didn't the actor who plays John Simm's boss, "Gene", star in a sitcom a few years back now as the younger brother of Peter Davison????

No I think it was his brother Robert Glenister. in a sitcom In the early 80's called

Peter Davison starred in another sitcom around the same time with Matthew Kelly.Can't remember it's name,but I recall something about a baby and a home brewery.
