what happened in the last episode? who was the carver?

The carver was the other doctor - was his name Quentin and his sister was the cop who was heading the Carver case. She had been disfigured from birth and he was born without a (well you know) - he became a plastic surgeon and fixed her. Quite an unhealthy relationship - that one. Anyway they both escaped to the sun together after causing some mayhem -no fatalities though. Julia and Sean got back together but there could be something wrong with the baby.
