On a recent episode of Numbers on ITV1 Charlie used a card trick to demonstrate probability to his students. Can anyone remember how the trick worked to show the chances of his turning a winning card on the second turn. I just remember that it wasn't as simple as 1:2 chance.

I think the episode you mean is "Man Hunt" - the last ep of Season 1 (with the prison bus crash). Anyway, there's an explanation of the problem on Wikipedia.
