I love Corrie but havent got round to watching it much recently.Obviously they had the babies but why have they seperated, I watched a repeat and was extremely confused. Sunita appeared to be acting like a total nut whilst he was creeping around her, so has he gone from one nutter to the next cause at least the other one was relatively good looking and didnt whine on and on and on.

She was miffed because it turns out that he has children by the women in most of his other shops. One of which (child) turned up at the shop to find him. Sunita, obviously thrilled tha her new husband and father or her twins already had a stack of offspring by a host of other women - so she threw him out. He has been trying to get back in her good books, hense the creeping around, and she has been suffering from PND - hense the loopy behavoir. Anyhoo, she's uped and left the street to live with her family again. Hope that helps.... ofcourse I never watch corrie!!!

Was he aware of these children? Or was it surprise when they turned up? I thought her family were crazy mo'fos anyway!!

goodsoul princess, have you not heard of ITV2 or omnibus editions. tut tut..

Dev knew about the kids and paid his fair share. Alas he had no part in their upbringing. The path is open for more characters from his loins to appear.

I try to watch the ominbus but I get to fidgety during it. Normally playing ermmm pool for the ITV 2 bit.

Unfortunately, as Ward-Minter describes, it's a tacky device for introducing more characters into the show. In Neighbours they just get a half sister or twice removed cousin to turn up n the door step bags in hand, Eastenders have done it recently too with Deano and the other new addition that lives with Jim and Dot. I suspect it's easier for the public to accept a family member (albeit distant) of an established character than it is to introduce a totally new un related one.
