OK, this is really bad. Been doing puzzles for ages and usually get there in the end with a hint but this is driving me mad.


27 cublets form the Rubik's cube. Within that cube, these cublets also form several rectangular prisms.
How many of these rectangular prisms are non-cubical?


I've even been drawing the flipping things to try and get my head round it, and I keep losing count and confusing perspectives. Would any kind soul please be able to give me the answer as I'm totally defeated.

Children's Multilink cubes might help.


I tried rationalising the puzzle by permutating 2 cubes together, then 3, then 6, then 9, then 12, then 18 -


forwards, sideways and vertically.


The answer is a darts player's maximum score!
