Did anyone see Dressed to Kill last night starring Michael Caine? I know actors have to pay bills like the rest of us, but that is possibly the worst film I have ever seen him in. I doubt very much he shows it prominently on his filmography. Any other "straight to bargain basement DVD / Video" films by famous actors that you can think of?

Michael Caine playing a psychotic transsexual in Dressed to Kill was the worst.

How about The Hand,Caine plays a cartoonist who loses his hand and has a transplant but the hand used to belong to a killer/psychopath.

Angie Dickenson was also about 50 then too... Gross!
I'm afraid I have to disagree with you all. Although Michael Caine made his usual mistake of taking whatever paid money, the Director (Brian de Palma) has shown himself over 30 years to be one of the most innovative and effective horror/thriller Directors America has ever produced (Carrie, Scarface, The Untouchables, et al) - and for me the other cinematic aspects of the movie more than made up for Caine's atrocious acting in a ludicrous role. Compared to any of Steven Seagal's identical disaster-movies, which Channel 5 seems to think Britain loves to see every other week, or even Stephen King's growing tally of lamentable, lukewarm straight-to-video TV movies, Dressed to Kill is still the Shakespeare of the gory suspense thriller.
Obviously Stephen King is not that bad when Brian De Palma directs a movie of one of his books (Carrie)....!?
