Came out today on DVD and got good ratings on IMDB.

Anyone seen this film? Any good?

Yes and yes - brilliant.

It's a SciFi western from Joss "Buffy" Whedon, and follows on from his short-lived "Firefly" TV show. You don't need to have seen the series to appreciate the film, but some scenes would have more emotional resonance if you have. The series is brilliant too and you can often pick it up for around �20 - another great buy.

Never saw the series but having seen this film I wish I had. Thought it was very good - if the series was like the film how on earth did it end up being pulled?

I watched 'Firefly' and thought it was fab, can't understand why it was axed tho... Serenity is brilliant, whether you have seen firely or not... IMO
