windows media player wrong region!

everytime i try and play a dvd with wmp, a box pops up and says i cant because im in the wrong region. it then gives you the chance to change it, and sure enough for some reason it tells me im in region 8! so i change it back to region 2, it then asks me if im sure..i press ok, but it doesnt change back to region 2 cos the box is there again straight away telling me im in the wrong region!!! whats going on??

this should sort all your problems out, and it will mean you don't have to keep changing region, as you can only do this a limited number of times
