songs in buffy

were all the songs in the buffy the vampire slayer episode "once more with feeling" written for the show or did they just change the lyrics of existing songs? i know im sad but all of them were really good!
btw does anyone know which series of buffy you can buy on dvd?

They were written especially and the lady who dances in the street had something to do with it, the one neare the car, I've forgotten what she did now.

sorry, Joss (legend) Wheedon wrote the songs and marti Noxon, his fellow writer is the lady dancing near the car, needed to check it, we have the cd and it is played constantly, that episode also contains my favourite Giles line, "I think she needs back up"

I have them all on DvD. It is my least favourite episode. I like Hush.
