Does anyone else think Steve Martin is severley miscast as the bumbling Inspector Clouseau ? I never really found Steve Martin funny in any film.

Absolutely! Especially after the legendary Peter Sellers, Steve Martin is awful.

This film will be nothing other than awful.Sellers was sheer perfection as Clouseau and Martin is no match at all.Martin is mildly amusing at best.

Steve Martin did have his ' time' but anyone who tried to copy Sellers original is going to fall flat on their faces,C.Chase would have been a better? casting as is much drier and carries off the ' idiot ' persona with ease.

I think Mike Myers should of been cast as well as the crew behind Austin Powers - i think we'd all be in stitches !

Steve martin has made a lot of craap films since Dirty Rotten Scoundrals.

It looks very bad in the promos.

i am not a big fan of steve martin, dirty rotten scroungels was really good, but why was his name in the hat for the pink panther?

also, the fact that the chinese guy(who's name i cant remember) is not in this film????

Steve Martin as Clouseau is a travesty.Why Oh Why does Hollywood keep doing this ?....Oh yes, silly me...Money!!!
