Episode 2 may have been made digitally, and even show in some digital cinemas, but the vast majority of cinemas still show 35mm film. Thousands of release prints of the film will have been made. This is done by using a laser to scan the digital image onto the film, and is a very slow process. Once completed this master is then used to make the release prints.
