can someone tell me why american idol wasnt shown on itv1 this saturday instead they showed oceans 11? I dont know how far behind we are for that series but I know there was a protest in LA did this prevent the show from airing or was it out of respect for the seattle shootings??? did i miss the anouncment at the begingin does anyone know.

The show airs in America on a Tuesday and the result show on the Wednesday. We get to see it on ITV2 on the Friday and on ITV1 on the Saturday so its only a few days after its shown in America. I watched it on Friday night so it definitely wasn't cancelled. ITV1 must have had other reasons for not showing it. If you want to know who went just let me know.
