What, in your opinion, is the TV programme that has unduly received little or no amount of fame but you consider to be a gem? Mine is the Rob Brydon show Director's Commentary which was hilarious.

is that the Aussie one? i think Green Room is good, a cross between St Elsehwre and teachers
Totally agree. Director's Commentary was indeed brilliant. It was broadcast by ITV at a rotten time, maybe you needed to have seen the 70s series he sent up to fully appreciate it, and some of the extra features on the DVD were disappointingly self-indulgent. But it was a great demonstration of Brydon's remarkable talents...and great to see snatches of Flambards again albeit in such a humorous light.
Talking about Rob Brydon, his series 'Human Remains' was class stuff!!
Life On Mars, I thought it was a cleverly written story and also a great send up of 1970s cop shows.

lol re Flambards robertson....you're right! Human Remains was superb, loved it. But my most under-rated is Peep Show. I've heard that Ch4 are not commissioning a new series due to poor ratings. I'm gutted, and can't believe more folk don't watch it as I think it's absolutely brilliant. I think Ricky Gervais and I must be two of a very select band of viewers.

I thought Big Train was hilarious. It has Julia Davis from Human Remains in it.
Firefly! Firefly! Firefly! :)
Prisoner: Cell Block H - the best thing to come out of Australia!

Totally agree with you, kick, Peep Show is one of the greatest shows of the last 10 years, if not of all time. I don't understand why it's not more popular, I would have though it would appeal to the same crowd as The Office. Still, at least it's going out on top.
Now and Again (ITV4 Sat & Sun 8pm. Watch it while you can),Life On Mars, The Smoking Room.
Confessions, from about 10 years ago
Stop Press....Peep Show is up for a Bafta, against Extras. So if he wins, will Ricky hand his award over to what he's described as "the funniest show on telly"?? That's be good. Maybe that's part of the recognition it deserves, a Bafta nomination. Robbo, we should lobby for it to win, as that maybe our only chance of a new series!
House or Prison Break on Ch5 - haven't they upped the game this season!

Traders - Canadian show that got little play in the US

Profit - one of the few were the point of view is that of a villan who we are never allowed to sympathize with

Garth Marenghi's Darkplace
what about NIGHTY NIGHT with the brilliant Julia Davis in it - that used to crack me up - my other half just didnt get it!!!!
Early Doors or Shameless
You know what, Im ganna sound like a nerd...but has anyone seen The Lone Gunmen...spin off from the X Files...it was great
How about 'Shane' with Frank Skinner. No repeats of it,and no follow up series?

God, The Devil & Bob

A classic animated gem that got cancelled far too early with James Garner as God. Can't even find it on reruns now.
