80's kids tv series - with a spiky windmill.

This is a bit obscure as i cant really remember much about it. It was childrens tv series, not a cartoon in the early to mid 80's and I remember it being a bit sci fi and scary. It featured a big windmill type thing that was sort of metal and spiky on a roof. The lead character was a girl in her early teens. Any ideas as it's really bugging me!

It wasn't that Australian programme...."Round the Twist". Dad was a widower, 3 kids, and a werid neighbour.....well, so my daughter says.

thanks for that, but definitely wasnt that. i remember that one though! No, this one was a lot more sinister and was definitely British. Cheers anyway though!

Could it be Escape into the Night. A small girl would draw somegthing then dream it.
