i'm really struggling to understand what is going on in this film. there are people getting killed on a road to nowhere and i know it must have an easy answer which i don't see. can anyone explain it please?

It's a road to know where , i.e dead end and people get killed, as in dead end. Simple.

Nah, that was one of those ones that wasn't meant to be understood.
I like 'love actually' - its nice and soppy and simple, and theres only the mention of dead babies fingers, not an actual full on dead baby close-up. Yeuuuuch!

Sorry Kato - i was baffled by the film too. Just don't think it was supposed to be figured out. You think that one was bad - did you get 'Donnie Darko'? i thought it was brilliant, but totally confusing.

They are already dead! killed in the accident with the woman in white earlier in the film, but you don't find this out until the end of the film. Their bodies end up in the same state as they are following the accident - burnt, ripped up etc. The hurse is the main clue.

What about the pregnant girl? if i remember rightly, she doesn't die. The white lady tells her that she isn't supposed to die or something?
