Can't remember the scene, but it sounds like "Call Me" by Blondie (used in "American Gigolo" too).

thanks for the reply but it's not the one by blondie
when i seen this i thought it was a real advert for asda lol.
after that i couldnt stop watching it.
sorry i cant answer your question

You mean:

" If you're feeling rather hungry, hey there's a product you'll remember.

Eat it hot or cold on Sunday, or you can put it in a blender.

Corned Beef with chips or with salad, It's corned beef - even Buckingham Palce eats corned beef.

Hey why don't you try corned beef hash!"?

In that case it's done to the tune of Petula Clarks "Down Town"

...classic!...I'm quite partial to the bin bags jingle too...

"Come and get your black bin bags,
They're on offer till December
Heavy duty black bin bags,
No matter what your gender
Come and get your black bin bags,
Whether bi or straight or bender."

The original was Call Me by Astrud Gilberto.
It has been covered loads of times Petula Clark being one.
i absolutely love the black bin bags choon on there does anyone know if dave spikey has a stand up dvd out yet?
You can buy an audio cd of all Peter Kay's 'songs', called The Best of Peter Kay So Far, Black Bin Bags being my favourite too. It's about 4 on Amazon.
