What were / are your favourite police dramas ?

I quite like the bill but it goes through good and bad patches.Used to love prime suspect , used to love miami vice and does anyone remember dempsey and makepeace they were ace. Wasn't there some good looking actors in police dramas, bodie and doyle,sonny crockett, magnum,

I did like Petrocelli, Barry Newman, he of Vanishing Point, but he was a lawyer I think. And Banacek was good, but he was a PI, Hill Street Blues was probably the best cop show.

the sweeney was tops. hawaii 5 0,,starsky and hutch,,kojak,,cannon. to name but a few.

Taggart, Shoestring, Bergerac, Professionals, Starsky & Hutch, NYPD Blue (Bobby was cool). I even liked the X Files (is that sad ?)

for me hands down winner is Starskey and hutch very closely followed by the Proffessionals. I also used to enjoy Shoestring, Cracker, Prime Suspect,Magnum and Petrocelli (dot.hawkes i didn't think anyone else would remember that!)
