ok, i know its going to sound like i have been living under a rock for the last 10yrs, but when did brrokside end and how did it end? were they all blown up?

Hard question to answer as we don't know what point you stopped watching.

Two things I can remember. An obnoxious family had moved onto the close, and in the last episode(s) the rest of the neighbours as a group sorted it out for good, if you get my meaning. Because no ONE person did it, we assume they got away with it.

Jimmy went to live with his daughter and barry. At the end of the episode he put a "D" on close (the street sign) so it read Brookside closed.

i read this thread yesterday and last night i had a dream that was the final episode of brookside (never saw it) how strange. it was that 40ish black guy with a bit of a goatie walkin round talkin to the camera sayin how crappy liverpool had become or somethin.... but he was walkin round the town where i live.
