Eyes Wide Shut??

I've never seen this before..am watching it now..and can't say I'm impressed! Is it just me,or is it pretentious rubbish?

I quite enjoyed it. A bit weird, yes, but quite thought-provoking I thought.

It's not the thought provoking aspect of it..though I take your point robbo...its the fact,that it all seemed so staged!

In comparison to his great works such as a clockwork orange, Stanley Kubrick really did let himself go with this film. Stick with the ultra violence Kubrick

I convinced my best friend, her brother and his best friend to come to the cinema and see it with me; I was a big Tom Cruise fan at the time (not so much now!) and was convinced it would be a great film. I was soooo wrong! We all left feeling very let down, and I can honestly say I can't remember a single thing about it now! Maybe that's not such a bad thing!

Magnolia is worse. felt like i needed to be on drugs to enjoy that! weird!

Actually lightoftruth, it was Kubrick's last film. he died in 1999.

Rather unfortunate really, that after such as illustrious career, it ends on 'Eyes Wide Shut'.
