I already get Sky. If i buy a sky + box from ebay- will it work if i swap over the cards?

sky+ needs 2 feeds ie 2 cables from the dish to the box so......no

  • You CAN swap the cards but you will need a quad LNB and another cable from the dish!

I have Sky + but I got it from the start. My dad had Sky and then got Sky + - he was sent a new card for his Sky + box as it's different and because he has multiroom - he kept his original unit nd card in case one broke

Mattk,we only put quads on sky+ or multi box installs,standard installation just has a single LNB,aurelia,thats a new one on me!!Its the same card just a different box!!

Cool cheers all...no easy way of getting around it then- have to pay the extra and go to Sky :(
