Fahrenheit 451 as a movie?

I'm looking for a good movie to pair with the book Fahrenheit 451. The actual movie versions of the book are substandard; I'm curious if there are any movies that carry the same themes about censorship and loss of spirit that occur when literature is lost. Thanks for any help.

Equilibrium follows similar themes of social repression - anyone with books, music etc is considered a "sense offender" and is punished with death.


There is a new version of F451 in production as we speak, to be released sometime next year, apparently.
