Music from TV shows
4 Answers
thanks to a previous answer to a question about Cold Case there was a clever link to the page giving all the music used in the series. I have noticed especially in Jerry Bruckheimer programes music is a big accessory. My question is, are there any more links to other shows, like Without a Trace.

Kinda OT, but I hardly ever listen to the radio these days - they always seem to play the same old s***. Most of the "new" music I discover is from shows like WaT, Cold Case, CSI etc etc, or occasionally films/film trailers and then some Googling. I wish the songs would get credited at the end (but guess that as the credits keep getting squished...)
If it wasn't for "Due South" (who, IIRC, did list featured songs in the credits - might be a Canadian thing, as "ReGenesis" does so too) I'd never have heard of Sarah McLachlan, who's now one of my favourite singers.
Whenever I watch anything like this I always make sure the computer is switched on, just in case I need to dive on to find out a track title and artist ! I agree, the Bruckheimer productions in particular use plenty of good music. Others to watch out for are Bones, Rescue Me and Nip/Tuck. To make it easier to find a piece of music though, try to get the title of the particular episode you want. If you have Sky, press the info button whilst the program is on and it should have it on there.
