There were unconfirmed reports at the time that he was sacked after being caught in possession of illegal drugs on set, but I think that he subsequently won a case for unfair dismissal - so he might have been innocent anyway

I heard it was because he repeatedly turned up late and fell asleep on set quite often!

apparantly neighbours bosses have apologised to him and there are talks of him coming back
