Jungle cartoon from the mid-90s

I used to religiously watch the Animals of Farthing Wood as a child, and I remember each week after it was on the next programme would start, and it was a cartoon involving (as far as my memory tells me, I was about 6 at the time!) some little brightly coloured chubby cartoon hippos and other animals riding in upside down leaf-like boats along a river and flowing under a big tree-house like structure as the opening sequence. This is all I remember and it is really bugging me, nobody seems to know what I mean and I'm beginning to wonder if I imagined it! Does anyone know the title of this programme?

It's a pleasure Squiggles, my daughter used to watch it, I remembered it because of that addictive theme tune - which I have been singing all evening!
