Oh of course...thanks Denise :-)

He was Mr Lucas in Are You Being Served.

Nice to see him still acting.

Nice to see him getting a re-occuring role seeing as this question was asked a month ago when he first appeared in Corrie.
He is Trevor Bannister who played Mr Lucas in "Are you being served?" Saw him last year in the Ray ****** farce "Caught in the Net" alongside Jeffrey Holland (Spike in "Hi - de - Hi") and he was superb. If you get the chance to see it, you'll have one of the best laughs all year.
For some reason it blanked out Ray ******'s surname from my first reply. Anyone know why?
It did it again - what is wrong with * * * * e y for crying-out-loud!!?
This is just silly now. For those of you still in the dark as to the man's surname it is the same as MONEY except that the M is replaced with C and O. If this doesn't get through I'm giving up.

Osprey, it's not getting through as it's a derogatory term for coloured/ black people (yeah daft I know!)

Thanks once again to everyone who replied putting me out of my misery.
