A few years ago, I picked up Salman Rushdie's The Ground Beneath Her Feet, a highly pretentious book about the rock world. What made me laugh was that one of the lyrics Salman's hero pens contains the line, 'I could crush a grape'! So clever he'd never seen Crackerjack and thus know how ridiculous it was!
