I think Scarlett raised this issue a few months ago.I have been using this as a cleanser and moisturiser for a couple of years now,and found it didn't irritate my skin like a lot of products, even those for sensitive skins. However, the last bottle I bought, makes my skin feel really uncomfortably warm, though not exactly burn, and reddens. This calms down, after about 10 mins, with no lasting effects. The baby lotion used to feel lovely and cooling on my skin, but, unfortunately I'll have to stop using it now.Has anyone else noticed a change in the lotion? I remember Scarlett mentioning she had phoned the company.I tried to send them an email, but their website states this facility is not available. I have just seen the original thread about this now, after I pressed submit! There were certainly others complaining then! Has anybody heard anything more?

Hiya linda mate how are you? Did you see the tribute to jack on the Baftas last night? Anyway, when I was a teenager, way way way back when there were only 3 channels, i used johnsons bably lotion on my face, but I went to the Estee lauder counter just before I got married and the woman there was horrified that I used it, she said why would you use iy on your face when it s meant for cleaning a baby's bum! it made me stop using it but I don't really know if she was right or not.
i cant use it anymore it causes a rash. It doesnt even smell the same anymore!! not got that nice baby powdery smell.

I use the Tesco's own version now.

I have very sensitive skin and this stuff is FAB!

Re the baby's bum thing: think about it... soft, sensitive skin, doesn't see the light of day much so isn't hard and leathery and needs regular cleaning etc... what do you use...? Something soft and gentle... Johnson's (or something similar.)

So if it's good for a baby's bum then it's certainly good enough for my face... i have a lovely complexion and my skin is really soft, clear and gorgeous!

Hi Dot! Didn't watch the Baftas last night,so I missed that :-( ...Like you,I never thought of using it on my face, but,a couple of years ago,it was the only thing that calmed a few red patches on my skin down! Never had any more probs with it,until now!...Miss_me..I've just bought some Numark baby lotion from the chemist, and she said she's going to mention all this to the Johnsons rep,the next time he's in.
I don't know about the johnsons baby lotion but if you have sensitive skin, as I have I can highly recommend niveas new face cream for sensitive skin. My skin was prone to becoming blotchy due to dry air or washing my face with water that was too hot but since Ive started using this my complexion has been almost clear.
