Is that the one with Norman Beaton in?
Never been any signs of this great show on DVD, as for my favourite memory it has to be whenever Porkpie said "yeah man", or whenever Desmond got in trouble with his wife and tried to sweet talk her and started it by saying her name "shiiiirley" in a really elongated way. Those always made me laugh and stuck in my mind even though they probably didnt happen very much.

Lets hope a DVD arrives at some point.

Very funny series, a classic. Loved the way pwork pie was said and my friend still imitates it!

Great stuff! loved the way the older son (Michael?) was so embarrassed about his family & moved to 'CROY-DON'

Lisa Geoghan (The Bill) was in it too..would love to see it all again.

It was a bit like 'No Problem' ~ anyone remember that?

Used to be on Channel 4 on a Monday evening - I watched it every week.

I remember one epsiode where the barbers was being burgled? held up? and the snobby son said he needed to go to the loo, so the thiefs stood guard outside whilst he used his mobile to ring for help. When they banged on the door and said what are you doing, he dropped a couple of 2p coins in to the toilet so it made a plopping sound! I was only about 11and laughed my head off, it still makes me smirk when I think about it now :o)

I loved that show, don't think I really knew what was going on tho!

No idea about the DVD situation huggy, but I well remember "Desmonds" as, at times, it was the funniest thing on the box. I saw a clip a few weeks ago on TV and I was filled with what can only be termed a nostalgic glow.
