I hear there's a US version of 'The Apprentice' - does anyone know any more about it? i.e. when it's on, what channel, what it's called (same name?). Thanks! x

The US came up with idea of the apprentice and we just copied them! The US version is with Donald Trump - I think it was shown on BBC3 ages ago but I don't think it was really that popular.

Ahh, shame I missed it - although I'm in danger of never being seen in public again now that Lost's back and BB starts again next week!! Thanks :)
i think i heard tonight there is another US version with Martha Stewert....i could have dreamt that tho so dont take my word for it!!
a short-lived spin-off show was fronted by Martha Stewart AFAIK

There is a Brit on the US version, they are down to the last 6 so far :o)

The Apprentice is an American show. BBC3 showed their season 2 run a few months back, but I believe they are on season 5 now.

Check out http://www.nbc.com/The_Apprentice_5/, Trump is great in this, and his sidekicks are much harder than SAS's. The prizes for the winning teams are usually much better, too, and sometimes actually have a business aspect to them. For example, once the winning team got to meet Rudy Guiliani and talk to him about business and public speaking etc.

you can watch the martha stewart one on discovery home & health..it's on now :o)
