After he had been beaten up by the girl's husband he ran off but was caught by the police and taken to the Police station. The taxi guy went to see him and was told that he couldn't be released until he had a permanant address, so he took him home. His wife eventually agreed to let him stay and it ended with them painting the kitchen!

...........and Eddie told his wife he wasn't going to be a doormat any more and she said righto!!!!! and they all lived happily ever after.

All in all I think this series has been very disappointing.

I thought the last one with Tim Spall has been the best one I've seen so far....didn't watch the one with Lindsey Coulson (I don't like her).

a second series has been commisioned for next year.but i think that there is another episode this week.i did have a job to get into these as work nights but last weeks one really gripped me.perhaps i'm going soft im my old age eh
