Recently I'v watched a couple of movies that I dont think are that well known, these are subtitled movies and I really got into them didn't think I would. For example Ong Bak, Taxi, & City Of God, 3 totally different films but all very good, can anyone recommend any other films I may not of heard of subtitled or not?

Is Life Is Sweet the one about the Italian dad and his boy held in a camp by the Nazi's and how he turns it into a game? If so, that's a truly beautiful film, nice call!

napolean dynamite is a must see.. and just like heaven too.

Lord of War (US film with Nicholas Cage.
Romanzo Criminale (Italian, director: Michel Placido)
Old Boy (Corean)

" love me if you dare " - (sub-titled) french movie. and the classic " once upon a time in america "

No Jiggy, you're thinking of Life Is Beautiful, but I agree that's also worth listing. As is The Chorus, incidentally.

Life Is Sweet is a British film by Mike Leigh starring Alison Steadman, Jim Broadbent, Timothy Spall & Jane Horrocks. Seems simple enough on the surface but there's so much to it, including a devastating mother-daughter exchange between Steadman and Horrocks.
