he was on the tribute to Tommy Cooper last night and his voice was definately less high pitched than normal. Reckon he puts some of it on!!

Apparently it gets worse the more giddy and carried away he gets. When he's being serious it's not so bad, or so he said once when being interviewed, before going off on one and floating to the ceiling...

My son has worked with him in theatre - yes he really does talk like that all the time - and apparantly he's a top guy - no edge to him - down to earth.
