the first one was on bbc 1,it was about a poor boy who was born with no arms and legs,he was mixed race with little round glasses on.his mother was one who had taken the drug thalidomide in the sixties.number two was about a lad who had a horse,it was a real tearjerker,as the horse at the end was stuck in some mud and they couldnt get it out.i think it was set in yorkshire,any help wiuld be grateful

I remember the first one. It was a documentary about how his foster father (I think) built a sort of wheelchair with a 'forklift' at the front end so the lad could move and raise him self (so he could sit at table fo instance). I seem to remember there was a follow up about a year later showing how the lad had improved with his new mobility and I think his father was on about Mk4 of the wheelchair...but I can't remember his name!!!
