I stopped watching Lost when I discovered the producers intended making five series, which effectively means a couple more years with no conclusion in that programme as well.
I felt a bit like at the end of Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid. You know their situation is hopeless yet they still gotta try and run. Can you imagine if they all get captured and sent back and the 3 guys left on their own have a race 'who finds the money first'? I thought it was great. I just hope Michael gets a chance to say goodbye to Westmorland's daughter.
I do realise that they intend to keep them out and have a proper manhunt through the next series but I can't help but let my imagination run wild and thinking how they can screw with us more.
'Excellent!' <taps her fingers>

I thoroughly enjoyed it! I just hope that they only do one seaon of them "on the run" as I can't see how they can stretch it out indefinitely.
I too hope that the Doc isn't dead, because that would likely make Michael responsible for her death. maybe they went for the old "your character is dead if you ask for too much money for S2" ploy.
Yeah was a little disappointed at first but on reflection the whole series was excellent and then I remember that no punches were pulled in the last episode. Lady VP kills President, Mob kill Nick Severin and his dad, Abruzzi chops off T-Bag's hand. Westmoreland didnt get to see daughter. Sarah appears to have killed herself. Was gutted when the announcer said it'd be back next year! Best thing on this year so far but no-one i know watches it.
Drusilla - I had no idea about Lost going for 5 series, I am getting a little bored of the second series, my interest is beginning to wane.
I thoroughly enjoyed the whole series, one of my favourite programmes and I wasn't too disappointed at the ending. There was that twist, i thought they were going to kill the vice president, not the president.
I don't think the Doc's dead though.
I can't wait for the next series! It's such a long wait, but it's definately something worth waiting for. Roll on season 2!!!!!! (oh and Wentworth Miller is so fit, i'll miss seeing him on tv every Monday night) ;)
I was disappointed too, what a con (no pun intended)
What will series 2 be about? Presumably they'll be caught cos otherwise calling the next series Prison Break might seem a bit odd with no one in prison. I just hope that series 2 won't be the kind of stunt they pulled years ago with a series called Murder One, anyone remember it? The second series was good but didn't really deserve the same name as it was entirely different people and plot.
I'm fairly sure by the way, that they said the doctor was dead when they found her.
