In recent years I had a penchant for Zig & Zag..but as a kid I loved the 'Pipkins' puppets & Lamb Chop :o)

Ewww no, I hated Cuddles (sorry!)

Adored ALL the Pipkins puppets, I thought they were real.

Loved watching Gordon The Gopher with my daughter as a kid.

Fraggle rock ruled............
Edd the duck and Basil brush were great.
and Emu.
And The Muppets! ...ooooh, and The Riddlers :o)
Scorch the Dragon was superb or Roland Rat was pretty cool too!!
podge and rodge
Captain Scarlett and Hartley Hare (from Pipkins).
itsy and bitsy on paperplay. two spider glove puppets who helped susuan stranks make things.... i recall the puppeteer always seemed to be keen on ms stranks's jumper if you know what i mean. for a slightly more in depth explanation try www.tvcream.org and search itsy and bitsy
Titch, from Titch and Quackers with Ray Allen, I used to love it when they went thru his homework I got all my answers from him! Closely followed by Basil Brush, in the Mr Derek days of course, and then Toppo Gigo, the sexiest mexican puppet u ever did see.

Well what do you know dot, thought I was the only one to fancy Mr Derek (so lovely/avuncular) and Basil himself.

Does anyone remember Billy Bean and his Funny Machine? Showing my age I know...........

Kermit is the King

followed closely by Flat Eric

..lamb chop...(showing my age)

...hartley hare ...(so flea bitten it looked like they found him in a carboot sale in 1936)

...emu.... ('nuff said)

...humphrey cushion....

I loved (and still love) the Muppets - Henson was a genius!

i seem to remember i loved Lamb Chop too, but i don;t remember much.

It's got to be Animal from the muppets. He was the purple one who played the drums. I also loved the cookie monster from Sesame Street, the way he would shove a load of cookies in his mouth, and none of them actually went in. I still laugh to this day. Hehehehe!!!!
...ooooOOooooh glammapus I forgot all about the cookie monster...me and my brother used to shove dry cornflakes "into" our "mouthes" a-la the cookie monster...my mam wasn't very amused though....

I liked Emu (by all acounts he is making a comeback with Rod Hulls son)

Cookie Monster, Grover, Fozzie, Swedish Chef and Oscar the Grouch

Zig and Zag

Sweep.......Sooty and Sue got on my nerves!!

And all the ones off "kids" Saturday morning shows (sometimes they tread a thin line which made it all the beter to watch)

'Animal' (the drummer from the Muppets)
pinky and perky

lamb chop.. but found sharri lewis a bit scary....

fozie bear......
