Is it just me that dies of embrassment everytime a celeb on tv gets the whole one-cheek-or-two-cheek kiss wrong? One goes for the 2nd cheek while the other one turns away oblivious. Can't they have some kind of prior arrangement or some signal? I feel so awful for them.

Personaallysspeaking, I die of boredom every time some "celeb" gets their overexposed, Botoxed, fake-tanned, trout pout-lipped, Love Me Love Me Love Me I'm A Celebrity miserable face on TV. I guess we're coming at this problem from different angles, huh?!
I'm sure they get over the embarrassment when they get home and look at a recent bank statement - I know it would cheer me up.
I must confess I've never noticed, but the situation is easily avoidable if the two parties make eye contact and watch which way the other's head is moving. A one / two kiss interface can be anticipated with a little attention to the other party, although I suppose by definition, celebs are too busy wondering if the camera is picking up their best angles!
Yes Beenee - I do as well! In fact anyone I see on the box who is in an obviously awkward situation I either cover my face up, or run out the room! It's too dreadful to watch - sensitive little things, aren't we? ;-)
beenee & cetti - I know it's not real life but you must have found The Office excruciating to watch.
RCP - I've never seen "The Office" - Have I missed something good?
