If you don't like my views, don't read my posts - isn't that what you all say when people criticise it? I don't watch it and I'd happily shut up but as I said, I can't escape people talking about it and my honest view is the quicker we never see it again, the better.

Its a commercial programme so as long as its generating enough revenue for C4 from the advertising (which is dictated by viewing figures) as well as all the revenue from the phone calls for the production company they wont axe it.
Its not my cup of tea but there must be a market for it or it wouldnt still be here - if people enjoy it then carry on - each to their own!
Having said that will you all please stop watching it and phone voting .pretty please .pretty please with cherries on top

I get a bit fed up with people saying 'just don't watch it ~ there are other channels'
For goodness sakes, if that was all I had to do to get away from the rubbish I would be happy. But no ~ you hear people talking about BB during their every waking moment, it's in the newspaper (several pages long, usually) and then when it ends we get an instant 'celebrity' or two clogging up the airwaves.
Mr Pippa is actually quite relieved when BB is on ~ it stops me buying magazines ;o)

it's true though. i seriously just dont understand how a t.v programme can wind so many people up! i mean i hate eastenders....so i just dont watch it then i dont have to spend all my time talking about how much i hate it and stereotyping the sort of people who do watch it. thats the only thing that annoys me, if everybody liked the same thing, then the world and everyone in it would be pretty boring!
The point is if it were just restricted to TV then it would be ok. I am perfectly able to make sure I don't switch C4 on at certain times.
The fact is, it doesn't help me. People talk about it in queues, on the bus, in the street, on AB in sections all over the place, etc etc etc.
Don't get me wrong, I am the same about the footie, cricket & wimbledon..heck, even the snooker! however, I can cope with those because they don't last as long and don't seem to raise the same passions. That I find very sad!

isn't it the same as a group of friends getting together and talking about the t.v series 'lost'? the only difference being, big brother is on every night, therefore people will have more to say about it. say 'lost' was on every night of the week, then im sure that's what would be the main topic of conversation at the bus stop etc. dont get me wrong, im not a huge fan of big brother, however, i don't dislike it either......i find it quite amusing and when i am watching it i actually find myself asking the question...why im i finding this interesting?...as i continue to watch it...ha! as im sure alot of people do!
But i wouldnt say big brother is more popular than the world cup!! noway!!! i hope i can have a little more faith in the British public than that!!
