What are the little things that make your day happier?
32 Answers
For me the top three are:
Seeing your ex with her new girlfriend and realising you are MUCH prettier than her
Seeing it is pouring with rain and getting yourself all ready for the soaking when the rain stops just as you get out the door
Finally getting a kit kat bar where one of the pieces is solid chocolate eventhough you could have bought a solid chocolate bar in the first place.

It's been pouring down with rain here too, and I had to walk to pick my daughters up from school as my car is in for it's MOT. I was pretty cross about it, but was very happy walking home with them and chatting about nature...birds, snails, etc..we even had to bring some rescue snails home to put in the garden. As if we don't have enough already ;o)

All connected with my 3 children (well maybe 2 as the oldest at 14 can be a struggle LOL )
Just seeing my daughters face when I pick her up from Playgroup. She is thrilled to see me even though only 3 hours since I dropped her off.
Picking up my 5 year old from school and hearing his tales and excited chatter.
Seeing them all saftely in bed, asleep and happy in their little beds.
I am boring I know but they are what make my day happier.

the three things that make my day happier are: when its raining outside and you are all cuddled up in your bed and you can here the rain hitting the window!
when im sitting at work time is going slow thinking about my boyfriend and all the cuddles im gonna get when i get home
also when im lonely and my mummy comes around for a chat or we go shopping together!

Hearing my 19 month old laugh and giggle.
A kebab when I'm starving
Hearing said 19 month old trying to say "mummy"....she can manage "mmmmmuuummma" but oddly enough she has no problems saying biscuits and sweeties!
My dog being pleased to see me when i;'ve come back from somewhere
Being infront of my fire when the weather's horrible outside
Sunbathing outside when the weather's good.
And loads more, just can't think of 'em yet.

Seeing everybody holding hands and getting along on here with great big group hugs and smiles :)
re: the Kit-Kat, if you ever get one as described, hotfoot back to the shop and get a new one, because it's not as described on the wrapper. You'll end up with two, because they won't want to take in exchange your original one with teeth marks.

Nice question.
Getting a text, unexpectedly, from someone very SPECIAL.
Knowing the next-door neighbours are going on holiday and you'll get 2 weeks of PEACE.
Finding out people (who you've never really had contact with on AB before) 'get' your humour. That has really made me smile today, so thanks to those who have commented.

Top three -
a 'kiss' from my grandson - he's sixteen months old, so he just opens his mouth and gums my face, but the affection is there.
my seventeen-year-old daughter being genuinely put out if I'm out for an evening, because she'll miss me.
realising I have passed another day and lived by my own personal motto - 'Be nice'.
