Anyone recommend 'Event Horizon'?

Does anyone recommend 'Event Horizon' as a scary film? It seems to have a few good ratings and a lot of viewers saying how psychologically scary it is, but it just looks like a space ship movie to me?

I suppose it could really be called a bit of both. A sort of sci-fi/thriller or something. It definitelly worth watching just for the two leads Sam Neill and Laurence Fishburne. To sum it up, a good film that isn't just a space ship movie.

From what I can gather, the space ship is Hell, or something like that, and everyone keeps telling me there's a bit where their eyes are missing - ?! *bemused*

Great film. The glimpses you get into where the ship had been scared the bejesus out of me. Psychologically I would say it was scary too, not just visually. There are a couple of plights that make you think ARGHHHHHH.

hi there. i purchased the DVD a while ago on the recommendation of a friend. Big mistake. i sold it on Tuesday on eBay for a couple of quid. It's not really scary (in terms of TV to day) i was disappointed because it had a lot of hype. its what i would call a Sunday night (10pm) movie. But then again it might be your taste, it ain't mine anyway.
